Hannah Cho, an internationally acclaimed Korean-American violinist, has garnered global recognition for her outstanding artistry in classical music. Her performances as a soloist, chamber musician, and orchestral collaborator have graced the stages of esteemed venues worldwide, including Carnegie Hall, Lincoln Center, Vienna Musikverein, Salzburg Festspiele, Berlin Philharmonie, Teatro Carlo Felice, Seoul Arts Center and Suntory Hall, establishing her presence on renowned international radio stations.
Commencing her violin journey at 3 years old, Hannah’s exceptional talent was acknowledged with her first prize within the initial years of study. At the age of 12, she made her solo debut with orchestra and has continued captivating audiences across the globe. Notable highlights in her career include a solo recital debut at the Berlin Philharmonie, as the winner of the New York Concert Artist Audition. Further accolades include prestigious prizes earned at competitions such as the Michael Hill, Schoenfeld, Maurice Ravel Foundation, and Aspen Music Festival Concerto Competitions. She has also received invitations to the Queen Elisabeth, Paganini, Indianapolis, Menuhin, Joachim and Sibelius International Competitions.
Beyond her solo performances, Hannah actively engages in chamber music, showcasing a rich collaborative portfolio. She participated twice in Juilliard's intensive ChamberFest and her quartet earned a coveted spot in the Juilliard String Quartet Seminar. Serving as a member of Axiom and the New Juilliard Ensemble, both acclaimed contemporary music ensembles at Juilliard, she has been involved in numerous New York and global premieres.
Hannah received her Bachelor of Music and Master of Music degrees from The Juilliard School, where she studied with Masao Kawasaki, Cho-Liang Lin, and Joel Smirnoff and completed the Professional Studies program at Manhattan School of Music with Sylvia Rosenberg and Nicholas Mann. Her academic journey continued in Europe as she was selected for the inaugural Vienna Philharmonic Orchestra Academy and the Concertmaster Artist Diploma program at the Stauffer Center. Additionally, she has enriched her musical education through international experiences, attending the Fontainebleau Summer Session in France, The International Holland Music Sessions in the Netherlands, the Mozarteum University International Summer Academy in Austria, and the Kronberg Academy Masterclasses in Germany. Her participation in prominent summer festivals includes the Aspen Music Festival and School in Colorado, the Heifetz Institute in Virginia, and the Newport Music Festival in Rhode Island.
Residing in Vienna, Hannah currently performs in the Vienna State Opera and the Vienna Philharmonic Orchestra.

Besondere Highlights ihrer Laufbahn sind ihr Solorezital-Debüt in der Berliner Philharmonie sowie der Gewinn renommierter Preise bei Wettbewerben wie dem Michael Hill, Schoenfeld und dem Aspen Music Festival Concerto. Dabei zeigte sich ihre außerordentliche Fähigkeit, das Publikum mit ihrer Musikalität und technischen Brillanz zu fesseln.
Parallel zu ihren beeindruckenden Solodarbietungen engagiert sich Hannah auch aktiv in der Kammermusik. Sie war bereits zweimal Teilnehmerin beim ChamberFest der Juilliard School und nahm am Juilliard String Quartet Seminar teil. Außerdem trug sie zu zahlreichen Uraufführungen mit Axiom und dem New Juilliard Ensemble bei, wodurch sie ihre künstlerische Vielseitigkeit und Innovationsfreude unter Beweis stellte.

3세에 바이올린을 시작한 해나는 어린 시절에 이미 여러 곳에서 수상을 할 만큼의 탁월한 재능을 보여주었습니다. NYCA 월드와이드 데뷰 컴프티션의 1등으로 베를린 필하모니홀에서 데뷰 리사이틀을 하였으며, 퀸 엘리자베스, 파가니니, 인디아나폴리스, 메뉴힌, 요아킴, 시벨리우스 및 다수의 세계적인 국제 컴피티션에 초청되었고, 마이클힐 인터내셔널 컴프티션, 쉔펠드 인터내셔널 컴프티션 등 다수의 국제콩쿨에서 입상하였습니다. 이와 같은 솔로 활동 이외에도 해나는 줄리어드의 챔버페스트 및 현악 사중주 세미나 등을 통한 챔버 음악에도 적극적으로 참여하였으며, Axiom 및 뉴 줄리어드 앙상블과의 다양한 프리미어 연주에서도 두각을 나타냈습니다.
줄리어드에서 예비학교, 학사, 석사과정을 초량린, 마사오 카와사키, 조엘 스미르노프 교수님께 사사했으며 맨하튼 음대에서 전문연주자과정을 실비아 로젠버그, 니콜라스 맨 교수님을 사사했고 빈필 아카데미에서는 빈필의 악장님이신 라이너 호넥, 폴크하르트 슈토이데 교수님을 사사했습니다. 또한 이탈리아 크레모나의Stauffer Academy에서 Concertmaster Artist Diploma를 받았습니다. 미국에서의 학위과정과 더불어 유럽에서의 학문적 경험은Fontainebleau Summer Session(프랑스), International Holland Music Sessions(네덜란드), Mozarteum University International Summer Academy(오스트리아), 그리고 Kronberg Academy Masterclasses(독일)와 같은 국제적인 여러 음악 캠프에도 참여하였으며 다양한 마스터 클래스를 통하여 이고르 오짐, 자카 브론, 피에르 아모열, 크리스토프 벤진, 미하엘라 마틴, 도널드 와일러스타인, 미도리, 길 샤함 등에게 사사했습니다.
현재는 비엔나에 거주하며 비엔나 국립 오페라와 비엔나 필하모닉 오케스트라에서 연주하고 있습니다.
